The following opportunity is available in our Brussels office:

Marketing Assistant

The marketing assistant, located in our sales office in Brussels, will work with the local sales&marketing team to support the Benelux region on business related projects such as communications, event management and marketing literature.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Update client marketing materials, including brochures, flyers and presentations
  • Provide logistical support on local events, such as client conferences, trade fairs, press meeting, etc.
  • Strive to increase corporate and product presence in the Benelux press
  • Develop the social media presence in Benelux
  • Ensure that the content on the Benelux websites is constantly up to date and work with the E-marketing team to leverage web campaigns
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance logs on all marketing items produced for Benelux
  • Answer simple client queries and direct more complex ones to appropriate team members
  • Perform small portion of administrative task, such as reception, welcome guests,  and ad hoc tasks

Requirements and Expectations:
  • A university degree in marketing, communication or business administration
  • 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, sales support, communication, graduate student is also considered for the job
  • Native Dutch speaker or equivalent level, fluent in English, intermediate or fluent French  
  • Ability to work independently in a small office
  • Attention to details, able to meet deadline
  • Occasional travel may be required on an ad-hoc basis
